After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UCLA, I pursued my passion for special education. I have been a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the past 10 years and I have enjoyed working with my students, their families, and classroom teachers. As a TVI, my role is to provide specialized instruction and services to meet the unique educational needs of students with visual impairments. In order to ensure access to the curriculum, collaboration with classroom teachers and support providers is crucial. I believe that by working as a team we can create a productive environment to promote independence and academic success to encourage students to pursue their life aspirations.
