EL PARENT MEETINGS
EL parent meetings are designed to inform parents of the choices available for their child's instruction as an English Learner, as well as the steps taken to progress in the program.These meetings will outline the different programs available in the district as well as at our specific school as well as data about your specific child's progress. REUNIONES DEL PROGRAMA EL: Las reuniones del programa EL están diseñadas para informar a los padres sobre las opciones disponibles para la instrucción de sus hijos como aprendices de inglés. Estas reuniones describirán los diferentes programas disponibles en el distrito, así como en nuestra escuela específica. ELAC
The English Learner Advisory Committee, or ELAC, is responsible for representing the needs of students on our campus who had a first language other than English. These English Learners are an integral part of our student body, and it is ELAC's job to assess their needs and advice the School Site Council (SSC) accordingly. If you are the parent of an English Learner or recently reclassified student, we invite you to come and advise on behalf of your child. The next ELAC meeting's details can be found below.
State Requirement for ELAC Education Code 52176(b): All schools with twenty-one (21) or more English Learner (EL) students, not including Reclassified Fluent English Proficient (RFEP) students, are required to establish an English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).

ELAC: El Comité Asesor de Aprendices de Inglés, o ELAC, es responsable de representar las necesidades de los estudiantes en nuestro campus que tenían un primer idioma que no era inglés. Estos aprendices de inglés son una parte integral de nuestro cuerpo estudiantil, y es el trabajo de ELAC evaluar sus necesidades y asesorar al Consejo del Sitio Escolar (SSC) en consecuencia. Si usted es padre de un estudiante de inglés o un estudiante reclasificado recientemente, lo invitamos a venir y asesorar en nombre de su hijo.
