Hello, I am Mrs. Gish.  This is my 4th year at VAAS and my 8th year teaching with LAUSD.  I teach a variety of subject, but mainly science and history.  I try to make sure that our class assignments are fun and engaging for a variety of learners.  

 

I graduated from Cleveland High in 2003, then went to Moorpark Community College before transferring to U.C. Santa Barbara where I graduated with a film degree.  I received my teacher credential from the LAUSD district intern program.  

 

My interests include roller coasters, getting out to our beautiful national parks, and my sports teams such as the Dodgers and New Orleans Saints.
