Hello! I am Ella Torres and I am one of the college counselors here at VAAS. I was born in Russia and came to America when I was four years old. I speak Russian fluently. The San Fernando Valley has been my home since 1993. I am also a product of LAUSD. 

 

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Cal State Northridge in Liberal Studies in 2011 and then my Masters and PPS Credential in School Counseling also from Cal State Northridge in 2014. This is my 11th year being a counselor and my 10th year at VAAS. Before coming to VAAS I worked in Carson,CA as a TK-8 Counselor. I always enjoyed working with children. Before I became a counselor I worked for LAUSD as a teachers assistant for 9 years. 

 

I am a proud mom of a loving, silly, curious, mischievous, lively, adventurous, goofy, vivacious, 3 year old boy. 

 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, son, husband, our dog, Espresso, photography and scrap-booking.
