Safe Practices for Drop-off/Pick-up

Because we take everyone's safety here at VAAS very seriously, we want to remind everyone to please use extreme caution during drop-off and pick up times.

  • If you drop your student off in front of the school, please make sure to do so on the curbside of the drive thru.
  • All drop-offs and pick-ups should occur behind the parked buses.
  • No one should be dropped off or picked up from cars stopping on Balboa.
  • If you are dropping your student off in the alley, please pull all the way into the alley past the orange cones before pulling over to let your student out of the car.
  • You should not stop in the driveway, in front of the recycling center, or along the block wall.

Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe at VAAS.
