Hello! 

 

Welcome to this new academic year! I am thrilled to be your Spanish teacher!  My name is Giannina Rennels; I teach Spanish 2 and 3 at VAAS. I was born and raised in Lima, Perú. I graduated high school in Perú; however, I obtained my higher education in the USA. I graduated from CSUN with two bachelor degrees: Bachelor in Spanish and Bachelor in Translation and Interpretation in Spanish. After obtaining my bachelor degrees, I went on to obtaining my single subject credential from CSUN. I have been in the educational field for over 20 years, but this is only my third year teaching high school. Being a part of the educational field has given me the tools necessary to help and guide students to achieve their goals.I am delighted and thankful to be a part of your academic journey and experience at VAAS. 

 

While not teaching at VAAS, I enjoy and look forward to traveling, spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, listening to music, camping, cooking, and my cafecito.

 

I am thrilled for this new academic year and look forward to helping all my students, parents, and colleagues. Go Vipers!
