My name is Mr. Padgett, and this is my fourth year teaching at the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences.

This year I am teaching AP English Language, Creative Writing, and Yearbook.  Moreover, I am very grateful to be working with my ninth grade Advisory.

Prior to working at VAAS I completed my student teaching at Chatsworth Charter High School and Millikan Middle School in Sherman Oaks while earning my Single-Subject Teaching Credential in English-Language Arts at CSUN.  I earned my masters degree in English from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia (g’day) and my bachelors degree, also in English, from UCLA.
